I see the warning not to use the Feed Alerts on the admin page for weather alerts, what I'm wondering about is programming the scanner to do WX Alerts for our county here that would go out on the feed like the fire and EMS traffic. Does anyone provide that in their feed? It seems like it would be of service to those listening to the feeds.

Thanks.

Many dispatch centers notify their units, when a weather watch or warning is issued.

If someone really wants to follow weather alerts for an area, they can check the NWS website, or monitor the weather radio feeds.

It is not permitted. As a feed provider you should know this.

"Feed providers agree to not broadcast NOAA Weather Radio"

From the Feed Provider Terms of Service.

Got it W8RMH. I'm new to providing a feed and didn't catch that part of the TOS. Thanks.
