We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I have been using DSD to locate the base frequency, step size and offsets for Motorola VHF and UHF trunking systems. I have not been able to locate a setting for Discovery on my 536 that will give the same information. Does anyone know if the unit locates this in discovery or analize mode?

This information is not on the control channel for Motorola systems. It is on the control channel for most APCO 25 systems. For those P25 systems, the band plan will be stored when received on all of our digital models.
