Xiegu x6200 FT8 Receive problem

Hi to all. I am using a Xiegu x6200 for FT8. Transmitting is no problem...SWR is good. PSKreporter shows that I'm getting out, etc. The problem is that my inbound signal/dB is suggestive of audio clipping, with the "thermostat" intermittently showing in the red, and I'm not receiving as may stations as I usually do. I have the line out gain set at 1, AGC is set to off. Other than that am I missing anything? Are there any settings in the WSJT-X software that I should be looking at?

What is your ALC set to?
Xiegu radios need to have the ALC set to 95-100 when transmitting on FT-8

Also double check the sound settings on your computer along with the baud rates.
