XT396/436xt-How to use close call

I want to find a frequency at a local race track using 396 or 436. I have searched for info but it is like mud for me. I'm thinking I have C-C mode on both scanners using a outside antenna but no transmission for the last 2 hrs. Can someone direct me what buttons on the scanner to get it working. If I get the freq I can always use freescan/laptop to permantly store. I figured that both scanners are programmed the same? Also I have the FM band on for a local radio station and no transmission.

i would set the 396 to search with scan of the frs/gmrs/murs AND custom search the 476 to 468 band AND have close call on. they can run all at the same time.

WTP-Looked at the videos couple days and it worked. 464.350 & 464.500 is what I automatically entered into the scanner. Now I can transfer to freescan. Thanks
