I've only had my ham license a short time. I bought a Yaesu ft-270 hand held a couple weeks ago. After struggling to program said radio, I thought I had finally figured it out and had several repeaters saved. Then all of a sudden while saving a new repeater frequency, every repeater that I had saved shows having the same frequency as the one I just saved. So I deleted everything that I had saved and started over. The 1st repeater was saved successfully, but each time that I save another repeater frequency, the 1st repeater saved changes its frequency to the same as the new saved repeater. I have no idea what I did or how to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks, vandal67

p.s. I wish the instruction book wasn't so hard to follow as I need step by step programing instructions in a section by itself.

Did not find manual that hard.

Haven't programmed a 270, but looking at the manual, it appears the same as the 150, 170 and 177 that I have programmed. Had no problem programming the 200 memory frequencies. It may help if you write down the exact steps you are using and post them here to help figure out what is being done wrong.
