I have put in 45.52MHz to VFO A. Can someone tell me how to change to FM mode? The MODE button switches between digital and AM but does not give me an FM option.

I don't have the FT5, but this works on my FT3...
Bring up menu
select TX/RX
select MODE
select RX MODE
select desired mode (FM)
back out of menu
Bring up menu
select TX/RX
select MODE
select RX MODE
select desired mode (FM)
back out of menu
Press and hold the fMenu key. Select TX/RX from the screen. Then from the TX/RX menu select MODE. Select RX mode. Your choices are FM, AM, Auto. Select FM. AM seems to be the default for some reason which is unclear to me. Press the BACK key to back out to the VFO or memory screens or press PTT. The MODE selection on the main screen is for the TX mode only.

FT5 only receives low band on VFO A by the way.
