Yaesu: Yaesu FT-891 or WSJTX 30M Issues?

I dont think my radio likes 30M on FT-8 using WSJTX. I have tried several antennas and tuners. I get high SWR sometimes (with a perfectly tuned antenna <1.5 SWR) but mostly I get this oscillating low to high SWR that I have to manually HALT or turn-off PTT. Sometimes I think it is a glitch with the radio and the software. I have tried selecting "none" for radio and use VOX. Seems to work on my QRP radios. Anyone else have 30M issues on FT-8 with the FT-891?

Could be rfi on that band. Try ferrites on the usb and coax cables. Sometimes,just moving the cables a few inches from each other will make a difference and you can be sure its rfi.

ft8 and signal link box.I went inside the signal link and changed the jumpers from what i saw on the signal link web site now i dont get anything. im looking for the correct pinout for the rj 45 can someone point me in the right direction? thx and 73

Is this for an FT-891? If you followed the instructions from Tigertronics and it doesn't work, you should probably let them know.
