Is there any way to omit or turn off priority channel when performing a memory scan? Very annoying to have the constant break while scanning. Verification - turn off priority, not the frequency. Can not find any info through searching.

I don't think so.
You can "register" any channel as the Priority channel (page 24 in the Advance manual). Maybe your only option to assign a different channel as Priority.
That said, the Priority channel should only come into play when using Dual Receive (page 24-25 in the Advance manual). Turn off Dual Receive and I think a scan should ignore the Priority channel.
Another option is to change the Dual Receive ("DW") resume conditions (page 25 in the Advance manual). You can set the resume time to between 2 and 10 seconds or Busy or Hold.

Thanks Bob. I turned off dual receive and that did the trick. As a lifelong scanner owner, I dislike comms being interrupted by the "check priority" channel but everyone has their own preferences. An option to turn priority on/off is a plus in my book.
