• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Let's use this thread to document Yaesu System Fusion repeaters that are on the air.

This thread is not for discussing pros and cons of Yaesu System Fusion as a digital voice format.

Can someone post a listing of which ones are actually linked or have Wires-X connectivity? I don't really see the use of a standalone system. I'm guessing there are others that feel this way too.

None connected yet, as the current firmware doesn't support it. Apparently this is coming "soon", though.

That repeater list above is nowhere near complete or up to date.
In Chattanooga, TN, Fusion in AMS mode is on 146.790.
Another Fusion repeater is going up on 444.100 soon, and the plan was to keep that just in C4FM digi mode.
Supposedly there is a system Fusion repeater in Cleveland, just outside of Chattanooga, but someone else will have to confirm that one.

I've got one on the air here in Southeast Michigan, more specifically, Pinckney, near Hell, Michigan.

W2GLD 442.675 MHz. +5.00 MHz. PL 141.3 Hz. or DSQ 001 (Pinckney, MI)

The repeater is always in Auto/Auto mode; however, WiRES-X is limited to digital only, as the analog side already has AllStar Link, IRLP, and EchoLink available for linking.

Also, there are two more on the air here in Livingston County, Michigan as well. In Howell, the Livingston County Amateur Radio Klub (W8LRK) has recented added a VHF and UHF System Fusion repeater as well.

W8LRK 146.680 MHz. -.600 kHz. PL 162.2 Hz. (Howell, MI)
W8LRK 444.525 MHz. +5.00 MHz. PL 100.0 Hz. (Howell, MI)

443.975 in Wellington, FL is on the air with a Fusion repeater. It is also linked to the Florida-wide SARNET (not digital). We will also be replacing our 147.045 repeater with a Fusion repeater in dual-mode soon.
