I'm not a Yonkers "buff," so I don't listen to them unless they get a fire of some consequence, but I believe they've been off that 46.50 for a LONG time, but still maintain the license for it.

They Dispatch on this 484.7125. The other two are handie-talkie frequencies......

I seem to recall someone posted here a long time ago that the 46.50 frequency was only being used for station dispatch tones. If you do a search on this forum you can probably find more information.

KC2GSP-Negative 46.50 is ONLY for house alerts and then 484.7125/192.8 ctcss is operations. It should be known that they are having lots of problems with their UHF repeater system as they have contacted me about it. There are now many dead zones around the city of Yonkers. It's probably receiving antennas (voters) are down or not working properly. I feel that their system needs to be updated badly and especially Mt. Vernon Fire Department on simplex.

When are you going to fix the issues with their UHF repeater?

Both Lowband and UHF for Yonkers FD is working fine
seagravebuff60- I beg to differ with you. All they were doing in the last week is testing and a lot of dead spots around the city of Yonkers. The dispatcher telling their units, especially portables to repeat their transmissions.
Eastchester Fire District on 453.675 has the MOST well-maintained radio system in all of Westchester County.
Have a good upcoming weekend.

62Truck- I'm not their repair person.

Oh ok... I was a little confused since since you said they have contacted you about it.
