Site NAC's added for South and Central sites, for those of you who wish to use them.
@Jimsmowin... You need a P25 Phase II scanner for York County.. It looks like you are a Phase 1 scanner owner by your signature line..
You will hear Lancaster and Dauphin as they are Phase 1 systems
Yes the WS1080 is capable of monitoring York County Phase II but it has a hard time receiving the line of sight signal modulation- so unless you're within a half mile of a transmitter the audio will be poor, it will cut out or just keep flashing with no audio coming through. For the time being, the Uniden BCD436/536HP, Uniden SDS100 scanner, or the Unication G4/5 pagers will perform better on this system. Whistler is expected to release a better performing scanner like the WS1080 towards the end of the year.I see in your line you mention a WS1080 Scanner. I have one as well but I am having trouble hearing anything in York County with it even after trying to lock out different towers. Do you know if this scanner still works in York County?

According to this page.. your radio is not compatable with P25 PHASE 2. ?? IDK, Can someone confirm this?So everything I can see says my Grecom PSR-600 SHOULD be receiving this system IF i am not too far from the nearest enabled tower. Am I understanding that correctly? Unfortunately I am way too new to this digital schtuff. I've used the RR database and had absolutely no reception thus far.
That is the first I have seen that. I have previously found info elsewhere it was capable of Phase II. But as admitted, this is all new to me.According to this page.. your radio is not compatable with P25 PHASE 2. ?? IDK, Can someone confirm this?
