Morning all. On a whim this past Saturday at our local hamfest, I purchased one of these. Just something to keep my mind going with programming, using and learning about it. Anyone out there using one of these?

It looks like the B tec 2501 which has free online software. Programming cable with a chip built in required.Cable $20 on amazon.

Tried the milkor site software. It will download on my WINDOWS 10 desktop but will not open with any of the files that I have tried. Thus will not install. I did find that RT systems has a kit for it for 49 bucks. Cable and cd software. Will look at the software you suggested. Thanks.

I confirmed the RT systems kit for the MP-300 and purchased it. Will be 70 yrs old in 3 weeks and don't need to worry about manually programing the radio. Thanks.

Thanks Jon. 43 years working for Uncle Sam has used up most of the old brain cells. Hard for them to retain stuff. The old adage. "it's not the age, it's the mileage.
