UniTrunker & PSR-500

I downloaded UniTrunker-Retro.msi 11-Jan-2009 and installed the program to work with the PSR-500, so I may decode EDACS and Motorola data channel, but I am unable to get the UniTrunker to do any decode.

Please post the settings that I need to set in the UniTrunker, so I may get the program to work with the PSR-500.

Go back to their site and download the : Universaltrunckerzip and use it. The help files show you all the settings for the PSR500. I had the same problem as you with this.

Once you get the right version installed there is a link on the UT home page showing you how to configure it. There's also a file in the ZIP (or directory once extracted) called "grecom.PNG" that shows you how to configure it.

As far as I know, UniTrunker-Retro.msi is not written to work with the PSR-500, but I could be wrong.

I am not getting anything out of UniTrunker-Retro not even the lights blink on the GRE data cable. I am getting something out of the regular UniTrunker, but not much information like MTrunker.

Maybe I'll just install win98 on one of my computers and rebuild the hard drive, I don't know.

Can you tell me what is the right version?

I got one version of UniTrunker working, but not much information is displaying like MTrunker. I am thinking of installing Windows 98 on one of my computers to run MTrunker, but will have to rebuild the hard drive which will be a lot of work.
