Smile Trunk88

I am trying to find something and I am wondering if anyone on here can help me out.

I am just wondering if anyone on here can tell me where I can find the table or list of what each of the TALKGROUPS mean, for example. TALKGROUP +3 = A patched Talkgroup, etc. I think that is what it is. I am looking for something like that. I used to have it but I don't anymore and I can't remember where to find it. So if anyone can tell me where to find it. I would appreciate it. So when I see it come up on TRUNK88 like: 3D, then I will know that it is a patch, but if I see another number show up I probably won't know what it means without that list.

So if anyone can help me out with this, I would appreciate it.

I will be waiting for any replies to this post. Thanks.

Coolguy.

I just notice that with v4.79 on a Federal UHF system. My rids does not match the rids on unitrunker. I can't remember which version I had before but it was correct before.
Now I get t88 rid of 12 with ut shows 221
162 for 195
176 for 195.
However the message display at the bottom is showing rids correctly. I'm not to familiar to Trunk88 and still learning but is they a setting that needs adjusted. I have Radio ID Display Format = 2

The more I watch this the more I think its a problem with unitrunker not tunk88.

Retro UT is confirming what Trunk88 is doing.

Sounds like a bug. You shouldn't see much decoding difference between the Unitrunker and the retro edition.

Default Trunk88 info

I am new to trunk88. I have a 396xt with the serial cable, serial port. I can get the program to run, I have the cable hooked in, I have tried extended and standard in c ch outputs but I get nothing on trunk88.

Is there somewhere on the trunk88 program to set up the com port? Is there any other settings in the radio? I have tried locked on a control channel and I have tried scanning a very active trunk system.

Have you resolved this? If not, how about posting a screen shot?

Edit Defaults / Input parameters / CC Data Serial Port

I'm pretty sure you can't just hold on a frequency (e.g. Hold <freq> Hold) - try programming it into your scanner as part of a Moto system, then hold on it.

Sorry, yes. It is within Unitrunker windows version that had the problem not trunk88. For some reason it just started to display wrong rids. When I was trying to compare with the dos version on Unitrunker it was correct between it and trunk88.
