Default Enhanced versions of DOS Trunker family

Some individuals have added functionality to the original DOS based Trunker (MTrunker - the original known at first simply as Trunker - and ETrunker) family.

LTRTrunker is a major example of this type of reprogramming.

Others have mentioned adding color to the display, reporting additional events, etc.

If anyone would like to share your enhanced version(s), publicly or privately, please send me a PM.

MTrunker was a GREAT Windoze port of the original Trunker, and the author, R00t, gave excellent support. However, I think he just stopped working on it. He was very actively communicating with me with what may have been a memory leak. The only problem I could find with it was on very busy systems (I think it may have been more related to systems with a large number of users and talkgroups) like MPDC (603d), MTrunker would very happily run for an hour or two, then would just go away. Again, R00t was actively working this with me, but I think he just got busy in other areas, like what pays the bills.

------ Snip ------
Bit of confusion there. R00t's Windows port was actually called MTrunker32.
Trunker, the original DOS program, eventually morphed into being called MTrunker for the version to handle Motorola systems, and ETrunker for the EDACS systems.

Oops... you're right. Been a while, but I still loved MTrunker32 and wish I could use it on the 603d system.
