Talking Disc tap question

I'm going to tap my BC996t for decoding.I already have a wire soldered to the tap point inside the scanner and a hole drilled in back panel for a Radio Shack mono jack.My question is which way does the Tantalum Capacitor get soldered in, + side toward tap point or jack? (10uf cap). I'm also curious about the location of the resistor position in the circuit. (10k-Ohm 1/4 watt).I just want to do it right the first time.Thanks.

According to SlicerWizard, positive faces the tap point.

I did how SlicerWizard described, and it worked great.
