Default LTR Dump

Does anyone know where to download LTR Dump? I need the version for the PSR-500.

I wasn't aware there was a version for the PSR. In fact, the only version I'm aware of is pretty old and is for any generic scanner with a discriminator tap. I could be wrong though.

Might want to look for LTRAnalyzer - and I'm not sure there is a version of it that specifically is for the PSR-500 either. I think it relies upon audio from a discriminator as well.

I use the latest version of Unitrunker on my PSR-500 - it supports LTR pretty good. It may not be quite as good as LTRDump/LTRAnalyzer for deep analysis of LTR systems, but it works well for me and will use PCIF data instead of requiring a discriminator tap.

Get the latest version of unitrunker at Unitrunker. Retro is the old style/version. You want the newest there.

I am trying to use Unitrunker for LTR, but I can't get mine working. It works for MOT though. The LTR system I am trying to monitor I know nothing about. It could be a passport or multinet system, I want to find some software that will let me know everything about it based on one channel.

In the latest Unitrunker, double-click on your Receiver (which will probably say Inline PSR-500). Then scroll down to the Decode section and make sure you have LTR checked. Then start the receiver.

The radio won't decode LTR unless you've programmed the system as such. You'll have to create a new TSYS, fill in at least one of the home channels, place the radio in TSYS / Analyze mode and go from there.

Is the PSR-500 Control Channel dump capable of feeding into LTRTrunk for LTR Passport or Multinet?

If I TUNE to one of the local LTR Passport channels and observe the data using WIN500's control function, the radio spits out M36 packet data messages, all with "Err" messages.

I'm just wondering how to get it to work with LTRTrunk for these specific types of systems.

Interesting that you say that, Rick. I routinely go into TUNE mode and simply scan UHF for LTR. When it comes up on active LTR freq it will show the LCN (and the frequency, obviously obtained from the scanner) plus any additional LCNs that active on that system, as well as the active talkgroup. I use this method all the time to figure out what frequencies are likely part of what LTR systems.

I'll eventually go and create a TSYS for those new ones that I discover once I think I am fairly sure of the frequency/LCN makeup.
