UT 1.0.0.5 and Fleet Maps
Is it possible to configure UT 1.0.0.5 to show Mot Type I TGs in "000-04" format rather than "35428"?
I know the fleet map for this system, and the TGs are showing correctly on the Pro-106.
I read that there was a way to do this on previous releases, but cannot find anything like that on 1.0.0.5.

Look for a Fleet map option on the Info tab for the system. There are bugs in this area - which I've forgotten.

I would love the answer to that too lol! I know T88 does it.... If you would like additional resources for figuring out fleetmapping I have an exel spreadsheet that will show you a lot in that regards... EDIT theres the answer lol.. but the spreadsheet is still available.

Nothing in any of the Info tabs. Is there a non-GUI way to add a fleet map?

Maybe try changing Motorola system Display Mode from Decimal to Motorola? That's in the main program window near the bottom of the Options tab.

That changes the display to six digits, but not the NNN-NN format.
There's probably a UT file I can edit with Notepad to add the fleet maps. I'm focusing on one particular, and poorly documented site, and want UT to track the GIDs so I can type as I listen without having to glance at the radio to catch the GID.

If you use the download feature in UT, it will name the TG's, even though in the wrong format, you'll see the names and won't have to look at the scanner. Just a thought!

The best solution currently is use Trunk88... You can set fleetmaps, and it will even tell you if each block is wrong if you put it type II and it should be type I, or vice versa... And the Fleetmap_Master Excel spreadsheeet is a perfect way to log down tg's and see if they really are tI or tII, and the right size code for each block.

I'm tracking Folsom Prison / California State Prison, Sacramento. The RR TG information is minimal, and what is there, is wrong, including which channel is the control channel. There is a breakout (no pun intended) of Folsom vs. Sac Prison (the two are separate, but physically located next to each other and share the same address) that is not shown in RR.
I'm also associating RIDs to GIDs to confirm what I think how this radio system is configured, and my preference is to let the software track and summarize for me. The GID tracking itself I'm doing manually with Excel.

Sounds like an interesting task, my idea doesn't help as you explained, and I don't know how to change the TG format in UT, I hope you figure it out!

Trunk88! Wow. Downloaded, answered one question, plugged in a tapped 2052, and we're up and running! And it's talking to me!
I've never had a radio program LOOK FOR and ASK ME which audio input I want to use. I have five, and this is very impressive so far.

LOL I love all three programs I run... I use Pro96Com on the P-25 stuff, UT for one Type II Smartnet, and T88 on for a Type IIi Smartnet, and a wide area Type II Smartzone. UT's newest release won't be too long in coming, and will be massively improved from the way its creator is working on it, so there may be some cool newer features on it. I am hooked on all three now....
