Default New to unitrunker

I have had my pro 197 for about 2 months now & would like to learn more with unitrunker. I have dl'ed & install te program sevral times & and after a few moments its shuts itself down?? what am not doing correct I have the cable( 200-47 RS cable) running from the scanner to the PC is all do I need a separate audio patch cable or what?

If your using v1005 this will give you and idea on how to get started, the freq's you'll be uisng may be a different band and rebanding may not be involved, but, the setting should get you started.

If your using the new version, it still may help to get you started, some of the symbols have changed in the menu structure, and it's split screen.

Instead of reading the manual read the guide. In v1005 the download system function will not work, because of RR datebase changes.

it just closed completely within a few seconds. also the message said not dat was saved after it shut down , also can I use UT with any other othe following scanners, pro 93,96 or 97??. 1st was using on the 197
also I tried it with pro 96 & got upload & hit yes but no data appeared in UT.

oh this with the latest 1.007 version was using the .1057 or something like that

I have also tried to load Unitrunker with no luck. I have a pro-95 scanner with a tap. Which scanner do I select from the list? The program will run...it does recognize the inline audio port but not the scanner.
