Default Unitrunker 1.0.0.8

This release contains two small fixes for downloading from the RR DB SOAP interface.

1. LTR talkgroups were mangled.
2. P25 site numbers were also mangled.

More to come later.

Not that I really need it but the band plan on my apco 25 system is not displaying. I think when I was on 1.0.0.7 it did on the first tower then quit. On 8 I can not get it to display anything.

Yep confirmed here as well. It is being decoded and stored in the XML but not being displayed on the band plan tab.

Also.....The download of of a P25 system adds/duplicates previously decoded channels with meaningless LCN's that are sequentially numbered 00-0001, 00-0002, etc. to the list of already decoded channels.

Good job on the site dowloads though, seems that is all good now.

Anyone else having trouble with drop down boxes in menus? I just grabbed 1.0.0.8 and fired it up. First thing I tried to do is add a receiver but I can't get the drop down box to open so I can select Signal or Voice. Double clicking/clicking the down arrow on the right of the box has no effect. The machine I'm using is currently running Win2k.

Edit: Disregard... Got it to work. I wasn't clicking on the very first drop down box first... I was skipping ahead to the Signal/Voice option.

Edit #2 - How do I import all my data from UT Retro? Or can I? I've been monitoring a local system for quite some time and *really* don't want to have to re-enter all the user data manually.

Thanks!!!

I also seem to be seeing some weird things with EDACS patches. With the Retro/DOS versions my patches would always be up in the 1600/1700/1800 ranges, but 1.0.0.8 is showing them in the 600's and 700's. Anyone else notice any EDACS patch discrepancies?

The way I did it was copy all the files over from retro to the gui folder. I used 1.0.0.5 to import the files to the system. Then exit and started 1.0.0.8 and they were in the list.

Default Priority?

Is there a particular reason why Priority (min of TG pri and Rad pri) isn't an available column for display? When I'm adjusting priorities, it's nice to see what the other active conversations are at.

Actually now that y'all are saying you're seeing this, I feel less crazy. In my area, there is a patch from the local Sheriff's Office VHF system to a wide area 900 MHz EDACS. The talkgroup assigned to this patch is 1369, but on Unitrunker it keeps coming up as talkgroup 345(which has already been assigned on this system to something else). The previous version I was using(1.0.0.5) displayed this correctly I know.

Thumbs up

I downloaded 1.8 , opened it with 7zip , added a descriminator tap to my BC250 and tuned it to 860.0625 MHz .The local EDACS control channel. I love the new Unitrunker, it works great. Thank you !

Working well with the downloads from RR. However, its not showing TGIDs that are not on the RR database though, but the older version shows these TGIDs that are apparently only for today's edacs system testing on the Hillsborough County (Florida) east site. Is there a box to check/uncheck for this functionality?

I too have noticed some strange talkgroups and odd handling of higher fleet number talkgroups. Talkgroups in the 12 and 15 range (Beach Patrol and Patches/Mutual Aid for Volusia County) show up as lower fleet numbers. I've also found fleet number 08 showing as 0 when in fleet viewing mode. I'm guessing this is a bug in taking the hex data and parsing it to fleet notation? Also decimal notation was not matching with previous data... I know Volusia County didn't rework their entire system.

Scratching my head. I don't remember changing anything in this area of the program. I'll check this out.

I've got two different EDACS systems with the same problem happening(both are patches to a conventional system):

Talkgroup 1369 is showing up as 345 on one system, and talkgroup 1561 is showing up as 537 on the other. The difference between both of these talkgroup variations is a value of "1024." Just some examples to help you determine what the cause is.
