Default Unitrunker Release 24

Release 24 of the program is now available.

Aside from bug fixes, two notable differences are support for the HP-1E as a signal receiver and the addition of start/stop buttons on the receiver toolbar.

I'll post a detailed list of fixes later. Enjoy.

It seems to work well, except that I still have one pre-existing problem.

My voice follower is a BCD396T (not XT). When I set that receiver Running, the scanner goes to the Park frequency. But, when voice transmissions are actually received, the scanner does not change frequencies.

Under "Options" on the main screen, do you have "Listen" enabled?

Mike

Great release, but is there a plan to implement the Hold function for the Control Voice receiver window soon?

A "quick win" on this would be to have an Immediate Priority toggle button, that when clicked, would store the current talkgroup's Id and Priority in a placeholder variable, and then set the Priority of the talkgroup to 1.

Click the Immediate Priority toggle button again, or close the Receiver window and you set the talkgroup's Priority from the placeholder variable back to it's original Priority value from the placeholder variable.

There is but I don't have an ETA as to just how soon. Hold will happen through the hold tool button on the voice receiver window, a hot-key, or some yet to be determined manner.

I noticed a space for Motorola fleetmap under the Info tab on a system. I entered the appropriate one in Moto format (LLLLDD), but it seems to make no difference on the Call History.

Is fleetmap still unsupported in UniTrunker?

Hmm. This is one of the reasons I can't abandon DOS Trunker yet.

I see there is a new "dedicated" option for receiver lock mode. What does this do?

I can't seem to find any difference between any of the three options when decoding the local EDACS system.

Default Parker County P25 Log

I thought I'd post a log of the Parker County system from v24 in case anything changed. I still can't get the VHF sites to decode.

trying to decode a P25 system. Success with a moto type 2 site but what am I missing while connecting to a P25 system? Is there a data channel I should holding to like the Moto type 2? Got to be something simple I am missing

I tried the other night also. I have a very strong signal from Anetta and Weatherford. I get log files filling up but the site screen never pops up and come to life like before.

I switched it over to the 700 MHz system in downtown FW and it came right up with a much worse signal.

Thanks Tom.

Yes. The signal receiver must be tuned to the active control channel.

Release 1.0.24.7 is out. This minor fix release addresses two issues:

a. inline decoding from a BC346XT
b. EDACS decoding from a handful of odd-ball EDACS systems.

What's New

Inline decoding from a BC346XT fixed.
EDACS decoding from a handful of odd-ball EDACS systems.
Health threshold changes.
P25 decoding accepts variable number of TSBKs per TSDU.
Clear source ID on when voice call starts on a continuation
(was displaying source ID from previous call)
Receiver window toolbar now has Start / Stop buttons.
P25 opcode 29 bug fix.
Patch logic handling fix.
Race condition fixed (ewww).
Health metrics more consistent between waveform decoding and inline decoding.
Bug fix for any toolbar button that toggles.
Better serial port buffering / timeout (customized to each radio type).
Audio decode buffers - more smaller buffers for better granularity.
P25 code base consolidation (C4FM and CQPSK were forked ages ago).
P25 now displays cross patched calls.
HP1 decode support with live oscilloscope view (sorry, no voice following).
P25 fixes - unit registration denials; group affiliation denials.
Patch related crash fixed.
Better call type display formatting (see the "SVC" column).
770 Mhz fixes for BCD396T and BCD996T voice following.
Online / offline state tracking for users that log out or leave a talkgroup.
Null pointer crash.
Uniden DMA models - capabilities mask to denote XT models.
AR3000A voice following (incomplete).

* Dedicated: ignores any data that does not match the locked site.
* You can pollute your logged data if you tune to a simular site or system with this option.
OpenSky tweak.
Remote API.
Emergency annunciation (audible alert or blinking text on an emergency call).
Archive tab now has browse button (opens Windows Explore to see your data files).

Default Just installed the latest release

First time Unitrunk user here.

Instructions were great, BCD996XT, everything looks like it is working except two columns dont look right

In call history and channels the freq column has all zeros...
Audience is always empty

Did I miss a switch or something ?
Scanner is holding on the control channel, C-Ch output has been set to front, the display does scroll up with talk groups that I recognize.

After reading more of the instructions I found out about freq needed in red...

When a new site window appears, you will see the control channel in red (color default). If the audience label displays "Frequency needed!", please type in the control channel frequency.

Regarding the JOIN
Am I correct that when the user (lE Officer, Fireman whatever) simply turns on his/her radio it will show up on UniTunker as a join because the radio must affiliate itself. Or am I out in left field
