Trunk88 Radio Affiliation Question?
Hi:
Im new to trunk88, but caught on fast!
I do have one question though.
When I hit Control-A it displays a affiliation window. I know that's right!
I see this:
(Image below)
What does: LPTT, LaFF, and Size (especially the difference between the # and the (Number # in parantheses) ) mean?
Also, what is the Difference between "Radios active" and "Radios affiliated"

It has been a while since I've used T88, but try the 'Ctrl-H' shortcut while on that screen. It should provide additional information.

LPTT: Last PTT
LaFF: Last Affiliation
Size: # of radios on that talkgroup
Active radios are total radios that have affiliated to that site.
Affiliated radios are the ones that are still on the air and locked on that site.

Guys thanks for your replies!
What I really need to know is this:
Under "Size"
What it the difference between the number in parentheses and the number that is not! What do they mean?
Does the number mean the total number of Radios, and the number in parentheses mean the number of radios still affiliated?
Also, is there any way to get a "report" type thing on a specific RID? You know, like when was it active, on what TG, ect...?
Thanks so much!

Code:
[ Talkgroup Size ]
These parameters control the screen location and foreground (text) color of the
Talkgroup Size values that are displayed during group calls.
The first value displayed is the total number of radio IDs active on a talkgroup; it
includes RIDs seen affiliating and/or PTTing on the group.
On non-networked systems, the second value displayed is the number of RIDs seen
affiliating only (e.g. lurking) on the talkgroup. On multi-zone SmartZone and
OmniLink systems, the second value is the number of RIDs seen affiliating to the
talkgroup on the current zone/site (e.g. how many radios dragged the call over to the
site).
For patched/MSEL'd calls, the values are the totals for all member talkgroups. To
determine which RIDs are active on a talkgroup, patch or MSEL, use the Edit Talkgroup
command to load the record of interest and then press Ctrl-A to display a detailed
list. Consult the Ctrl-A hotkey help text for more details.
The recommended Width value for the Talkgroup Size display is 6; this provides enough
room for an nn(nn) display. Set Width to zero to suppress the display of this field.

While editing a radio record, Ctrl-A. That's all.
