That's the one. It's always reported that version number.

In Ottawa there's a 3-channel 860MHz system with fast idle bursts (1 per s) plus
regular LTR burst (1 per 10s) interspersed, but no HSC on any channel. LTRTrunk and
LTR Analyzer (including v1.8) do not decode the rapid bursts; not even as an
Unknown/Invalid Function. So, it doesn't appear to be LTR-Net.

I'd always thought this was Uniden ESAS (Extended Sub-Audible Signalling)
having read the patent documents (a real techno-legal jungle) for this and LTR-Net
way long ago.

I'm not too disappointed that it doesn't fully decode, though curious. I know
it has some extended features, as phone interconnect was heard.

Meanwhile another regular LTR system started transmitting continuous frames
with HR=31 and Group ID = 254. I've lost track of the listing of special codes 251-254...
someone refresh my memory?

I believe x-xx-254 is CWID.

Not in this case, as it's being sent 4-5 times per second, unless it's malfunctioning and stuck; not unlikely as this once interesting and well-used system is down to very little use. I've listened for more than an hour and didn't hear a CWID.

This is most likely a PassPort system.

Possible but I still think it's probably ESAS. I recall trying to decode the rapid
bursts with LTRDump, but they didn't. I fired up LTRDump but it doesn't run
anymore, lost some configuration from before, need to chase this down.

The "sound" of the bursts is different from Passport systems I've heard
(some in Quebec between here and Montreal, not sure if they're still up).
