Unitrunker, SDR, and dongle decoding issues

Hello all,
Im using the trunker, SD and a Nooelec dongle to decode a Motorola type II system. I will be having no problem decoding traffic..and them BAM. My signal strength dies. I can still see that SDR is receiving just fine. If I hit stop and start in SDR trunker starts decoding again. Any thoughts?

Turn off any protocols you aren't actually using.

In particular, turn off detection of DRM, ProVoice, NXDN and OpenSky.

I did a little more digging and realized that I didn't even need to use SDR... so I dumped that and now everything is working wonderfully.
