Default MTrunker and Windows 2000 Problems?

Anyone else have any problems running MTrunker32 under Win2k? I recently replaced my Celeron 333 Win98 box that I was using to run DOS versions of Trunker and ETrunker (along with MTrunker under Windows) with a Celeron 533/256mb. Things started off just great... I copied over my MTrunker32 folders and data and away it went. It likely ran about 2 weeks before I came home to find a window saying 'Mtrunker32.exe has generated errors blah blah an error log has been created blah blah'. No big deal, I just restarted MTrunker and away it went. But now, it seems to be getting worse. Sometimes it will only run minutes before crashing...other times hours. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. The PC is dedicated to Trunker... nothing else is running, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue. I am also getting 100% decode rate on the system that I'm monitoring, so signal strength isn't an issue. The only thing running in the background is PC-Cilling Internet Security, which I have just disabled to see if it may be the culprit. I guess I'm just looking to see if anyone else has had an problems with Win2k and may have any pointers or tips to help me out.

Many thanks!

I'd like to have the error log posted to help troubleshoot the problem.

Speculation:

Perhaps the VXD files from win98 version are incompatable with win2k. A symptom of this is memory leak or buffer overload.

Win98 uses VXD files (*.vxd)
Win2k uses INI files (*.ini)

Using a *.vxd file on a win2k might be the root cause. Again, this is speculation. No warrantee applied. If there was a warantee applied it would be 30 feet (10 meters for Canadians) and 30 seconds.

Thanks for the help, in metric no less! The program died on me again overnight last night, with only the bare Win2k essentials running in the background. I'll have to root around and see where the error log has been saved, then I'll paste whats in it here (if it's not huge).

Thanks for the help!
