Default no sure what I'm doing

I have a UHF freq. I tried using LTR-Analyzer on. I read the notes and I think I understand the notes but I don't understand my readout. I also notice that the freq. does have a pl and most of the people that are talking on at the begging you will hear about 3 or 4 chirps in the audio. When people are talking I don't see any reaction from the ltr program. It does pickup modulation around 70% and ltr modulation at 15%. Any input what LCN this is on?

Thanks,
Jeff

There should be no PL on an LTR system. Some scanners mistake subaudible data for CTCSS tones. To avoid confusion, you should monitor LTR with PL turned off (assuming your scanner is not capable of LTR tracking).

The log file was created using aor8200 which does not have a pl filter setting in it. It was only observed on 396t in the search mode. I try to set it up on a LTR system (without pl codes) and went thru most of available LCN number and can't seem to get it working. I also set the scanner in FM mode.

Are you using a radio with the discriminator tapped? Are you relatively sure that the channel is using LTR?

For the log file it is a discriminator tapped. I use this scanner for my apco 25 9600 system all the time. This channel I listen to (ltr), well I'm not sure, I have had 1 time in the past was getting a ltr system but I can not recall freq. it was on. So I started on this freq. since I was picking it up and hear a few different users on it.

in most areas, the UHF business band should have plenty of LTR users. Try 451-453 & 461-465 for a search. I think the log file has too much junk to be a good signal or a LTR user.
You should see consistant lines of data with lots of duplicate TG hits.

That entire log is just junk decodes. No LTR data in there at all.

Are you using a slicer with a low-pass filter, or have you adjusted whatever you're using to pass the audio to behave as a low-pass filter? LTR requires this for good decoding.
