Default Question regarding split Type II TG's

OK here is one I have never seen before,... A split tg setup... Dispatch is on one tg, and mobiles are on an second tg. I thought at first maybe this was the result of it actually being an Type I tg on the system as it is an Type IIi hybrid. But using Universal Trunker, and T88, as well as the conversion spreadsheet on all the tg's shown to appear, proves that its an split set of Type II's. Seems to be a huge waste. Is this a common thing? Or can Type I, and Type II tg's be mixed in one bank? I didn't think this was possible

The mobiles are all on the same TG? I know LTR systems frequently do something similar but each mobile is on its own group, which is done to keep the mobiles from hearing each other.

Would a screenshot from T88 or Unitrunker help?

No, it wouldn't. What's happening is a product of their radio programming. You won't see it from the CC side.

Its possible the dispatchers from a console could be using an announcement TG which includes multiple
individual TG's and the mobiles are responding on this one TG.

It could also be a multi-select from the console - same senario.
