Default Another Rebanding Question?

I am not understanding rebanding...i have read through all the post and everything...but are freqs being pushed down to 700mhz band?

Not exactly. Channel spacing and frequency assignments are changing in the 800Mhz band. Parts of the 700Mhz band are also being opened for public safety commuinications on trunked systems, which will make more more spectrum space available and possibly reduce interference. But as I understand it, existing licensees will generally receive new frequencies in their current band (800Mhz) rather than being moved to a new band (700mhz or otherwise).

Rebanding only affects 800 MHz. 700 MHz is a whole different issue.

Rather than read EVERYTHING, just read the information here.
