Default Simulcast question

Not sure if this belongs in the Motorola forum, however:

I am confused about what happens in a trunked system using multiple transmitting sites. I understand what happens on the receiving end in terms of voting, but what happens when a cruiser radio is receiving transmissions from more than one transmitter at the same time - or does it? A previous discussion indicated that the repeater sites are "synchronized" - does this have anything to do with my question?

Thanks for any help,

Chris

snychronized means that it does receive from more than one site, but the radio is not bothered as it sounds like one signal to it. If it was not sychronized then there signal would be distored.

I withdraw this post - I just discovered that I asked this question before but never saw the numerous replies for some reason.
