A Couple of Stupid Questions

Gang

I have a couple of stupid questions that I would like to ask.

1. With scanning the 700 Mhz Digital systems doing you program them as you would a standard 800 MOT 2 System or is it done differently ?
2. How do you use the control channel scanning setup ? I can not find it in any on the manuals on the PSR 500 or the 396.

Any help would be appreciated a lot. For give me for being so stupid.

I believe you need not set up a plan for CConly unlike the older Unidens.

Since all 700MHz systems are digital in the Uniden you set it up under p25 which is in the Mot settings.
