Default what is the point of this forum?

I was going to post a question here, but then I noticed that every single post previous has been moved.. It seems that people are posting trunking related questions here but because they have to specify what scanner they use, the post gets moved to that scanner's forum.. So when is any post relevant for this forum? Should I just save myself the trouble and post this question in the scanner specific forum?

Exactly.

It's for discussion of trunking technologies which do not fit under the other categories or discussion of multiple different formats in the same context.

Seems like sort of a niche topic, and not much conversation of it is taking place (apparently).. How about letting some of the posts people are making slide?

Just a suggestion..

Not everyone reads all the forums. By placing the posts in the correct forums they get the best visibility.
