Default System Key Format

Hello,

I know I will probably be crucified by you experts, but you will have to forgive me. I am working on cloning a radio. I need to load the system keys. I have the system keys on my computer, as I successfully cloned a radio several years ago. However, I have no idea where they are. Can someone tell me the format and extension these files are supposed to take? I need to know what to look for in these thousands of computer files. Essentially, can someone give me an example of a file name for a system key? For example, if you tell me it will look like sys1234.key, I will know what to look for. Any help you can give would be much appreciated!

lbj010835,

The only crucification you deserve is for the double post. You may want to take a look at this thread.

Nothing wrong with your question and I hope you find your answer.

Fineshot, yes, it is a Motorla radio, at least that is where the second post showed up.

Welcome to RR and the wealth of info available here.
