Default whats better a 2prong ac adapter or the 3prong one for 996

I seem to have both a 2 prong slim Uniden AC adapter
and a bulky maybe older 3 prong Uniden AC adapter for my 996

Both are the same specs.

which is better? will the 3 prong with the ground be better?

With the update out I have looked into my acecssories drawer and found them both
