How do you hook up the power supply for the GPS.

It doesn't get power from the scanner if thats what your wondering..
This thread needs more info as to what your are talking about..

I guess if your GPS doesn't have seperate data and power ports you'd have to run it on battery. Are you sure it's a compatible GPS?

The GPS has to have its own power source/cable... you dont connect and get power from the scanner
So in a car you would plug it into a cigarette lighter adapter etc, or if the GPS runs on batteries
You DO need to connect the serial cable to the scanner though...
