996 settings

I have searched however cannot locate a thread or wiki that can help me.
I know there are "hidden" settings in the 996. I am having trouble navigating to them. I've done it before, but it has been so long.
I have firmware 3.02. I used Func + vol at power up. It gives me the settings at the bottom, but it will not advance to other settings and I cannot get it to change those settings.

I listen to the Indiana SAFE-T system and other conventional channels. Since I updated the firmware, I have a huge audio discrepency between digital talkgroups and conventional channels. In order for me to have it up loud enough to hear the digital, it blows me out of the water when a conventional comes on.

Is it written anywhere the steps to get into and navigate through to change the settings?

Has there been any thought in a firmware update of taking away the 250 talkgroup limit?
With the Indiana SAFE-T system, as well as others, that limitation can be a hinderance to adequate programming.

That limit is imposed by the platform's architecture.

You need to change your AGC settings, namely the Ref. Gain and Resp.
