Default UPMan, giving thanks where thanks is due!

UPMan, I'd like to thank you for participating in these forums and listening to (and commenting on) our wants, complaints, and questions. You are an asset to the scanning community and to Uniden, as I am sure they know!

Also who ever is in charge of seeing what accessories we get in the box with our scanner, thank them from me too. I am glad Uniden includes the AC adapter, batteries, pc cable, literature, and not to forget the wrist strap!

When I got my 246t, I looked at that wrist strap and put it back in the box. I couldn't understand why in the world I'd need a wrist strap...After a couple of hours of playing with the radio, I put the wrist stap on. 3 months later it is still on there. I love having that wrist strap. I use it to hang the scanner in different places when there isn't a good place to sit it down, while holding the scanner and lots of other purposes! I was glad to see the wrist strap made it to the included accessories on the upcoming BCD396T! I use all the other included accessories, but the wrist strap gets the most use!

With all the new features that continue to come with each new scanner, Uniden truely listens to the customers and that is why I have never purchased a GRE. I have only bought Uniden (only 3 but still have been Uniden). I'm not saying I don't like the GRE or would never buy one but for the value of the working man's dollar, Uniden has my business. You always include everything I need to get started including the freq books that helped me out a lot on my first scanner, the BC80XLT. Then when I graduated to the BC250D the trunktracker book really came in handy.

I also buy Uniden because of the "customer support" I can get right here. It might be a day or two at the most but you always answer the questions (if you are allowed).

I just wanted to say thanks. Not only to you, UPMan, but also to all of your fellow employees that work at Uniden to keep us scanner nuts happy (and broke ). Thanks for all your hard work! 8)

I am in no way putting down GRE or their scanners. There are several GRE scanners I would like to have, but just feel Uniden gives me more for my $$$ when I get the chance to buy. I am just giving thanks to the Uniden guys for listening and participating with their customers!!!!! [/i]

I made a message like this in the past thanking UPMan for his efforts so I'll just chime in here and second the motion.

AYE!!!

Moving on...

As above!!!

I just wish there was someone on here that could tell me more about what Uniden is doing in the rest of the world. It all seems to be "secret squirrels"!

I too would like to thank Paul for all of the time he has spent here and at the Yahoo Groups reading our posts and replying to them. It is truly amazing to me that a Company Rep like Paul would find so much time in the day to devote to those of us who may have questions or comments. I think it speaks volumes for the commitment Uniden is making to the development and support of it's line of scanners and to it's customers.
