I have been trying to program this pager. I got the free scan to download my info to the scanner, but when I turn the scanner on it shows nothing to scan. I can look in the menu and the system is there, but it will not scan.. Any help would be appreciated. THanks. CL

Welcome to Radioreference CL. By pager are you talking about a fire pager?

If you programmed the agency frequency, and then the Tone A and Tone B, it should work, but you need to go to the menu and select the Tone Out Standby function and wait for the tone out.

I meant to say scanner, not pager. Big sllip up. I am trying to scan the Louisiana 700 digital system.
I was able to download the info with freescan and it is shown in the system, but the scanner does not recognize it. Is there something else that needs to be set or turned on. Many thanks. CL

Did you assign a QK (quick key)?
