Red face usc230E

Good Morning Ladies and Gents. (well! its morning over here, in dreary London!!)

Have just bought the above scanner (USC230E), Been reading the manual but to no avail, I know how to enter a frequency (press hold enter freq press hold again), then press menu until you arrive at the 'opening screen' if you want to collect quiet a few freq's, all different airfields, how do you enter freq's to each airfield............like........I want to enter 'Elstree airfield' 122.400...........I want to enter Heathrow....Whatever the freq are.. I want to enter Stapleford airfield 120.500. How do you make up the different sections Elstree, Heathrow, Stapleford and then enter the freq to go with them!!

(I hope that sort of makes sense, my head hurts after typing that lot)
Anyway I would appreciate any help/advice to can give me. Honestly, I have tried to understand the manual........

You should give the DMA scanner tutorial at DMA Scanner Programming a shot. It also covers trunked systems (which the USC230E probably doesn't do) but the basic theory is the same.
