Default Help with BCD996T (Digital, Trunked, SFBay)

Hi there, I've been watching these forums for a while but this is my first post.

I've had BCD996T for about a year. I've never really spent the time to dig into it fully. I've loaded it with local stuff and been able to scan analog just fine. I live in San Francisco Bay Area and i know there's a lot of digital frequencies i can be listening to.

Over the past few days i've been trying to figure out why i'm not getting anything from any trunked systems. I've loaded them both from FreeScan/RadioReference and also by hand i get nothing. It'll say "nothing to scan" if i pick the group, and otherwise it just blows right by them.

If i'm doing something wrong i don't know what it is. I've seen a couple of threads about a problem similar to this and the scanner needing to have the DSP reset. I don't have any reason to think my scanner's messed up although i did buy it second hand so i don't know its history.

If there's anything you guys could suggest i try i'd certainly appreciate it!

thanks in advance!

You may want to check and make sure you have your TGID quick key is enabled for your system. I have forgot to do this myself in the past along with assigning a quick key for the system.
