Default BC 895XLT Technical details? More than just the specs.

And - yes, its for the 895.

I need the "timing sequence" for a scan lock and "audio" out on the line jack.

Reason:
I will use the scanner as a dual channel AIS receiver, ( I know that a scan rate of 10 ms. is less than desirable).
I know about the discriminator tap, but by using it - I have to analyse a continous stream of 90% noise. (Terrible waste of computing power).

My idea is to use the taperecorder output which is activated when the scanner lock onto a chan.

I have 3 ms. available (the AIS training sequence + start block) so I need "tape output" < 3 ms. after carrier detect.

Can it be done?
