Default Bandscope mode 346xt

Well I am TRYING to use all the functions on my 346 (this is sarcasm---i really like this radio). I have it in bandscope mode searching through the RR band. HOW do I put it in MAX mode? And will it store all hits to a system, or group ? And just to make sure, there is no audio in bandscope mode correct? Thanks again, Mike

The bandscope is just a fun toy, it's not really meant to do anything productive. I would suggest you try out Search & Store, it will give you audio, and save all the channels found in a special system.

Thats what I have been doing. I did figure out in the bandscop hold mode that you can listen to the audio for the signal. Thats pretty cool! Although, unless I did something wrong for the correct RR freq. to be displayed the step size needs to be the 7.5(new narrowband step), not 15. Of course, I might have that messed up also! Mike

Bandscope becomes useful when coupled with a computer. The Butel ARC-XT program makes using it a breeze.
