996 not receiving or...

Has anyone had the issue of a 996 working fine one day and the next not receiving on trunk or conventional frequencies. Wont stop scanning while scanning weather channels. Even when i manually go to my local weather freq (162.400) no audio. Im new to this 996 and so far with the program issues, display issues, and now this not to impressed. Any info would be greatfully appreciated.

Hi Blu,
If you're receiving nothing at all, even on your local weather frequency, I'd suggest you check your antenna connection and squelch setting.
Sorry - that's the best a non-technician can suggest from Illinois.
