Default Looking for high gain antenna for BC296D Any suggestions?

I am look for suggestions, based upon your experiences, for a high gain antenna for my BC296D.

I guess it all depends on what you are listening to.....

IE: what band, freq, etc.......


There are some good "all around" antenna's areound, but be more specefic, and you can get more suggestions.....

There are several different systems, at different frequencies, that I monitor. So it would have to be a catch all type antenna.

I found the following website that I thought was very good in covering my options.

I think I will checkout the RS Telescoping Whip, Diamond RH77CA and the Pryme RD-98.

You are not going to find a wide-band, high-gain antenna.

Look for a unity gain at best, then focus on the quality of the line you are using.
