Default BC780XLT Defaults to trunk search

Hi,

It used to be my BC 780 XLT would default to trunk ID scan when I turned it on if that is what it was doing when I turned it off last. Now, I have to push the scan button every time I turn it on because it defaults to ID search. Annoying when I don't want to listen to IDs I haven't identified as interesting enough to program into the scanner. What changed? Any pointers?

Have you tried to reset the radio?

hold down 2+9+Man keys while turning it on.

WARNING: this erases all of your memory!!!!!!

Ok,
Ive been trying to duplicate the problem here on my radios manually without using software.

1. Do you maybe, perhaps have all of your (programed) trunk ID's locked out? (this would force the radio search?)
2. When trunk scanning, are individual Trunk List's (that have ID's in them) not turned on?

I'm just wondering if anyone came up with a solution for this problem.

I have a number of 780's and one of them is now defaulting to search mode when I turn it on.

Any help would be appreciated.
