Default Uniden Home patrol hum

I have several Uniden Home Patrols and when I connect one of them to any computer input (mic or digital in), from the head phone port on the home patrol I get a loud hum. Has the impedance changed on the head phone port. That does not seem likely. I use a 996xt and 396 on the same computer and they sound fine.
Thank you in advance

You need a ground loop isolator. You can find these for under $10 at, say, Radio Shack.

Are you saying only ONE of the several creates the hum?

They all do. Sounds like I need a ground loop isolator as suggested to me.
