Firmware 1.03.01 for HP-1 is out

Glad to see they fixed the bug preventing you from being able to power it off when running on batteries. That was annoying!

My firmware update ran just fine .. love the fix where the channel / dept hold no longer jumps when you release to channel hold. Thanks UP Man for relaying our request to the "fixers". Can't wait to see what the big firmware upgrade does!

Glad for the minor fixes.
Now as least we have some kind of
time frame for the major update.

Effortless update, done in just a couple of minuets. Now to see what the Major update in a couple of months brings.

Glad to hear everyone is able to do the update process without
any difficulties. 
So to stoke the fires a little:
What features would folks around here like to see in a Uniden
Firmware update for the HP-1?
Of course leaving out Provoice and Opensky out of the discussion
for the time being.
What other features would be cool to use?
After a few other folks post their ideas I will post what I would
like to see

I would have to say by far, the "search" function should be added to find new frequencies or TGs.
I love my HP, but cannot figure out the logic of no search, as the HP is dependent on the RR Database, but you have no abilty to "find" new TGs unless you have another type scanner.
The current favorite name being scanned should be displayed, eliminate range and atten from the screen, replace with current favorite name.
And I would change some of the picture icons ... the green cross EMS symbol is odd as is the SWAT icon for Law Tac. I'd change EMS dispatch Star of Life symbol and change law dispatch to a patrol car and law tac to the law shield.
But I still wouldn't give this radio up if they made no changes !

Add for favoiites, but don't touch the front screen atten and range are just fine where they are at

Me? I just want the TDMA fix so I can tell my friends with GRE's to stuff it when they turn up PG County, MD so I can hear it on their radios while they laugh at my HP-1.
