Question System Type / BCD396XT

Question: When uploading a MPSCS system Freescan & RR defaults to Mot Type ll / P25.
My unit has always be set to P25 Standard (Digital XT) for MPSCS and has always worked
just fine. The saying if it isn’t broke don’t fix it may apply but which system type would be correct?
The Indiana SAFE-T system also defaults to Mot Type ll / P25. Thoughts on that would be much
appreciated as well.

IIRC the FreeSCAN software does this because of the legacy system type settings on the BC396T and BC996T, but the XT models automatically set to the proper system type sent to the radio.
