Default Regarding Quick Keys on the BR330T (396 also?)

I'm going nuts here. Manual says to access quick key systems with double digits, like anything over 9, to just hit the "." button then the two keys. Like 1 and 0 for 10. But this does nothing.

Not sure if there's an error in the manual or what. So thought I would ask here. I'm trying to just stop it from scannig a group in system quick key 10. But it won't let me hit 10. I tried hitting the . or No button first, but doesn't do a thing.

help?

still doesn't seem to do anything. I changed it to 12 in the scanner, then hit scan with no other systems on, and hit ".12" and nothing happens.

Fixed it, I guess 0 is reserved for racing. So putting a system into it was messing things up or something. All is well now.

While in SCAN mode you'll see the "S0: *234*56*---" on the second line from the bottom.

(That's how mine is organized, 1 for Priority system (if a cruiser goes by code 3 and I've not heard anything yet i'll quickly deassign the other systems leaving system 1 the only one to scan to speed capture of who's doing what; 2 for assorted freqs I've picked up in the area like buisness freqs, RTA's freq etc. 3 for county-wide freqs, 4 for city freqs like the one I'm in and neighboring, 5 for Qck Sav Conv Sys, 6 for CA Hwy Patrol and 7 for Natiowide).

"-" means unnassigned, "*" means turned off, and when the "x" number flashes, that's the system it's scanning ATM. To use double digit quick keys, press ( . no ) and you'll see the "S0" flash. Press 1 for instance, and it will switch to the "1x" systems and show any activated or inactive quick keys. To activate/deactivate a quick key of 57, you'd press (.no), then 5 (which switches to the 50 series system quick keys) then for a "suffix" if you will of system. For groups inside systems, while scanning in the chosen system, press and hold Func and the group keys can be turned on or off.
