Default 396 TGID Alpha / Numeric Toggle?

I recently programed a friend's 396 with various trunking systems...

He has done something to it, I am not sure how to fix it (without reprogramming it again)...

Somehow he has managed to change the TGIDs from Alpha to Numeric for ALL the systems!?!

Press and Hold FUNC, and then the #5. Page 48 of the manual. And yes, it effects the entire scanner.

Thank you!!

I tried "searching" the manual (pdf file) for "TGID" & then "toggle"...

Now reading page 48, I see that searching "toggling" would have lead me to the answer!

You're welcome. Slightly off topic, but I wish that Uniden would have given us the option of alternating text and numeric information.
