Unhappy Need Help with my BC785D

HI
I have a BC785D scanner. I programed Montgomery County MD into banks 1 and 2. I am not picking up any
thing from Montgomery County. They rebanded a while back also. I wiped the unit clean and did a fresh install and got the data info from the Radio Ref . I am using the Butel ARC Pro for my programming.
Anyone have any ideas why im not picking up anything?? I know montgomery is working because i am picking them up on my BCD996T scanner but not my 785

Thank you for taking time to read this and any help or ideas you can give me.
PS was able to program PG county MD just fine with no problems. and yes it works tooo!!!!

The BC785D cannot track most rebanded systems and cannot be updated to do so.

It's almost impossible to guess at what's wrong here, but keep in mind that since Montgomery rebanded, there are 2 or 3 frequencies that won't work properly - so you will lose some traffic. It's probably not worth it - the 785 can't be rebanded anyway.

What package are you using - ARC250 or ProScan? Those are the 2 main players for this radio.

Why did you program the same county in 2 banks? Mike

Default Using ARC250

Mike
\I am using the URC250 to program my 785.
I also put montgomery on 2 banks because I want one bank to be all Fire,EMS,EMRC and Medvac
The other bank i want to be all police.
What about the 796d? can it pick up the Rebanding that Montgomery has done?
Thanks for your help
Doug

The 796D will support rebanding with this firmware update.

Additionally, since 3 of the system freqs have a '0' in the 4th decimal, you will need the rebanding custom table to track this system correctly. That is defined in the wiki article you've already been given.

Make it easy on yourself and download it fresh from the database. Assuming you're using the most current build of ARC250, it should set up the custom table for you automagically
